This water trick will do wonders

Before cutting raw mangoes, soak them in cold water for at least three to four hours. By doing this the heat or sticky mass inside the mango gets removed. Additionally, its peel and pulp become slightly softer, making the knife easier to handle. But keep in mind that after removing it from water, dry the mango thoroughly with a cotton cloth.
