New Delhi. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has announced the award of the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics to Francis Halzen. He has been given this award for his important contribution in building the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and for the discovery of extremely high energy neutrinos coming from space.
