Noida Labor Wage Hike: The district administration has taken a big step amid labor movements and industrial unrest in Noida. Giving information, Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate (DM) Medha Rupam said that the state government and the high level committee have accepted the main demand of the workers, salary increase. Thousands of workers in the district are expected to get direct benefits from this decision.

DM Medha Rupam expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the interests of the workers. He said that not only the salary increase but many other important instructions have also been issued to protect the interests of the workers and ensure better arrangements at their workplace.

Salary will be credited before 10th

According to the new instructions, now all companies and industrial establishments will have to ensure that the salaries of the employees are deposited in their bank accounts before the 10th of every month. Apart from this, the annual bonus received by the employees will also be given before the month of November every year. DM Medha Rupam also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

You will get double payment for overtime

Further strengthening the rights of workers, the administration has also directed to give double payment (double salary) for working overtime and on weekly holidays. This decision has brought relief to those employees who work overtime or on holidays. The administration has also adopted a strict stance regarding the safety of women employees. Formation of committees for redressal of complaints related to sexual harassment has been made mandatory in all institutions. The special thing is that these committees will be headed by women, so that women employees can get a safe and fair environment.

Complaint boxes will be kept at workplaces

Complaint boxes will also be installed at workplaces, so that employees can easily register their problems. DM Medha Rupam also informed that call center and control room numbers have been issued for quick resolution of workers’ complaints. Through these means, employees will be able to register their complaints directly, which will be monitored by the administration and prompt action will be ensured.

The administration reiterated its appeal to maintain peace

DM Medha Rupam appealed to everyone to maintain peace and said that violence is not the solution to any problem. He urged both workers and industry management to find solutions to the problems through dialogue and cooperation, so that industrial harmony and law and order are maintained in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
