The latest attack took place in Türkiye’s south-eastern province of Kahramanmaras. Here a student entered the school premises indiscriminate firing Started it. In this horrific attack, a total of 4 people including a teacher died, while 20 others were seriously injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the sound of bullets in the school premises was so loud that there was chaos all around and people started running here and there to save their lives. The attacking student has also died in this incident, although the real motive behind the attack is not yet clear.

On Tuesday, just a day before the Kahramanmaraş incident south-eastern Türkiye A similar bloody incident took place in Siverek district of Uttar Pradesh. The attack took place at Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School at around 09:30 in the morning. Here an 18-19 year old former student entered the school with a shotgun and opened fire indiscriminately.
A total of 16 people, including 10 students, four teachers, a canteen employee and a police officer, were injured in the attack. Governor Hassan Shildak said police had asked the attacker to surrender but he shot himself and died on the spot. The school was evacuated immediately after the incident and the injured were admitted to nearby hospitals, out of which five have been referred to major hospitals as their condition is critical.
