Actress Nora Fatehi was summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) in the case of obscene lyrics and bold scenes of women in the song of the film ‘Sarke Chunar’. In this matter, Nora appeared before the Commission in Delhi on Thursday. Expressing her views on the controversy, Nora clearly said that she had no intention of hurting anyone’s sentiments. He told that he was put in this situation. The actress has also apologized for the entire matter.
On Thursday, Nora Fatehi appeared before the National Commission for Women. Earlier, he had distanced himself from the Hindi version of the song. Nora said that she had shot only for the Kannada language version. The lyrics of the song were changed in the Hindi version, but his consent was not taken. After appearing before the Commission, Nora met the media outside and said that she had submitted a written apology.

She said, ‘I appeared before the commission and apologised. It was just a situation I was put in. I had no intention of hurting anyone. But being an artist and public figure, I should understand my responsibility. That’s why I have apologized completely. We have given everything in writing.

Nora also told that she has taken a good step to correct this mistake. She has decided that she will herself bear the expenses of the education of some orphan girls. He said, ‘The people of the commission were very kind and helpful. It is very important for us to give something back to the society. Last month itself, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also had to appear before the National Commission for Women regarding the song of the film ‘KD The Devil’. He also gave a written apology and promised to bear the expenses of education of 50 tribal girls as a form of reform.

On March 15, the Hindi version of this song was released on YouTube. Both Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt are seen in the song. But there was a lot of anger and resentment among the people due to some sexual lyrics of the song. The criticism increased so much that the makers of the song had to remove the Hindi version from YouTube. However, the song is still available on other platforms. The lyricist, singer and director had also already apologized. The original song was written in Kannada language by the film’s director Prem. The lyrics of the Hindi version were written by Rakib Alam, but after the controversy escalated, he distanced himself from the song. Nora Fatehi had also given clarification on Instagram. He had written that he had shot the song in Kannada language, the language of which he did not understand. When she came to know about the Hindi lyrics, she too was surprised. This song was criticized by many big stars, including names like Ravi Kishan, Kangana Ranaut and singer Armaan Malik.
