Technology Desk – Nothing Headphone (1) Pro Launch: Nothing has launched Headphone (1) Pro, a new flagship over-ear headphone in its audio portfolio. The company has designed it on the design language of the previous Headphone (1), but this time many major upgrades have been made in terms of audio quality, noise cancellation and battery.
The biggest feature of this headphone is its triple-driver audio system. Apart from this, it has features like Adaptive ANC up to 46dB, Spatial Audio with Head Tracking, LDAC, Bluetooth 6.1 and USB-C Lossless Audio.
Price is $399, waiting for launch in India
The price of Nothing Headphone (1) Pro in America has been kept at $399 i.e. around Rs 38,300. This is about $100 more than the launch price of the company's original headphone (1). This premium headphone is available in Black and White color options.
Currently, its price and sale date in India have not been revealed. However, Headphone (1) Pro has been listed on the Indian website of Nothing, due to which there is hope of its arrival in the Indian market.
You will get powerful audio from three drivers
The company has installed not one but three different drivers in Headphone (1) Pro. These include 40mm Bass Dynamic Driver, 13x8mm Precision Dynamic Driver and xMEMS Driver for treble.
The xMEMS driver uses a silicon diaphragm. The frequency response range of the headphones is from 20Hz to 40,000Hz.
Users get the option of Personal Sound and Flat EQ to adjust the audio as per their liking. Apart from this, Nothing has prepared its tuning in collaboration with Metropolis Studios.
Trying to give theater like audio experience
For users who like movies and music, Dynamic Spatial Audio with Head Tracking has been provided in Headphone (1) Pro.
It has many listening modes like Standard, Live House, Club and Concert Hall. Apart from this, a special mode based on Studio B of Metropolis Studios has also been given.
The headphone is Hi-Res Audio certified and supports AAC, SBC and LDAC for music playback. LC3 codec is also available for Broadcast Audio.
10 microphones and up to 46dB ANC
Nothing has also upgraded the Active Noise Cancellation system of the new headphones. A total of 10 microphones have been installed in it.
According to the company, its Real-Time Adaptive ANC system can reduce noise up to 46dB. Along with this, Transparency Mode is also provided, so that the user can hear the surrounding sounds if needed.
A 4-microphone algorithm has been used for calling, the purpose of which is to make the voice more clear.
Battery will last for 68 hours
Even in terms of battery, the Headphone (1) Pro is quite powerful. It has a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery of 1,060mAh.
Battery performance according to Nothing is as follows:
AAC + ANC On: Up to 30 hours
AAC + ANC Off: Up to 68 hours
LDAC + ANC On: Up to 28 hours
LDAC + ANC Off: Up to 53 hours
That means the company is claiming up to 68 hours of playback when used with ANC off and AAC codec.
From Bluetooth 6.1 to Dual-Device Connectivity
For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 6.1. Additionally, support for Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and Instant Setup is also available for Apple devices.
Users can use Dual-Device Connectivity to stay connected to two devices simultaneously.
Tactile switches are provided in the headphones for controls. It has got IP52 Dust and Water Resistance rating and its weight is 327 grams.
What will be the price in India?
Launched in the US with a price tag of $399, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is a premium audio device. The company has not yet announced its price in India.
Now most of the attention is on the price at which Nothing launches Headphone (1) Pro in the Indian market and when will its sales start.
