Now 12 new cities will be established in Bihar

A big and good news has come out for the people of Bihar. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced during a big program in Muzaffarpur on Sunday that preparations have now started to establish 12 new townships (new cities) in Bihar. Giving a new impetus to the development of Muzaffarpur, the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 982 projects worth Rs 1,047.09 crore. He has made it clear that the new township to be built in Muzaffarpur will be named ‘Tirhut’.

Features and basic facilities of new cities

CM Samrat Chaudhary said that along with revamping the old cities, the government is also paying full attention to developing new cities. Along with construction of drains, roads, water supply, parks and community centers in old cities, construction of pucca houses for the poor is a priority.

At the meeting in Muzaffarpur, the CM said, “Improving old cities is a time-consuming process on which we are continuously working. Now we will establish such cities in 12 new places where every house will have basic facilities like electricity and water.” He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, this development work is progressing rapidly.

Announcement of special ’employment fund’ for women

Bihar government is now very serious about the economic empowerment of women. Referring to ‘Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana’, CM Samrat Chaudhary said that the government will provide financial assistance to women to start their own business. He assured that the benefits of this scheme will reach every eligible woman. The sisters who have not yet joined this scheme will also be included in it soon.

Big change in the field of education also

The vision of Bihar government regarding education is quite clear. CM Chaudhary informed that the picture of government schools across the state is being changed. Now ‘model schools’ are being built there. Apart from this, new degree colleges are being opened in the state and coaching centers are being started inside government schools so that children do not have to go out for better studies. He said that we are proud of our heritage and the government is fully committed to making the future of Bihar bright.
