The reason for keeping the price low
Battery costs account for 35 to 45 percent of the cost of electric vehicles. Instead of importing cells from outside (mainly China), Ola manufactures them in-house, reducing costs, which the company is passing on to consumers.
Features and colors
The scooter runs on Ola's MoveOS 5 software. It gets cruise control, regenerative braking, reverse mode, GPS navigation and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Also, the 'Easy Park' feature makes it easy to drive the scooter in tight spaces. The scooter is available for customers in four colors namely White, Anthracite, Sky Splash Blue and Macha Green.

Delivery and Sales Policy
- 3.1 kWh Delivery of variants: It will start from December 2026.
- 5.1 kWh Delivery of variants: Commencing in March 2027.
With this launch, Ola has made a major change in its sales strategy, with the S1Z being the first model to be sold through dealer-operated stores instead of company-owned stores. This will increase the reach of Ola even in small towns. Now, it will be important to see how Ola competes with companies like TVS, Bajaj and Ether.
