Olivia Rodrigo delighted fans with a packed performance during her appearance on Saturday Night Live.
On Saturday, May 2, the 23-year-old singer took the stage as both host and musical guest on the renowned NBC sketch show.
In her monologue, Rodrigo revisited her early career and rise to fame while delivering a comedic sequel to her breakout hit Drivers License.
She also performed her recently released single Drop Deadintroduced by Deborah Harry.
Her second musical performance stole the spotlight, as she debuted an unreleased track titled Begged from her forthcoming album, introduced by Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie.
The lyrics carried a vulnerable tone, with the three-time Grammy winner singing, “What a shame you’re not here / here to witness my devotion and my endless well of needs,” before adding, “I feel trapped inside my life.”
The appearance came after Rodrigo announced The Unravelled Tour in support of her third studio album.
The tour will span major arena venues across North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
