Hyderabad: Son hit, father also dragged on bonnet for 2 km… Horrible hit and run case comes to light

Tezzbuzz Desk- A heart-wrenching road rage incident has come to light in Rangareddy district of Hyderabad, which has left people shocked. In this incident that took place in Meerpet police station area, a car driver not only hit a bike rider but also dragged his father on the bonnet of the car for about 2 kilometers.

According to information, the car hit a two-wheeler from behind, in which father S.K. Jilani and his son Faisal were on board. After the collision, an altercation started between the two parties. Meanwhile, Jilani stood in front of the car and started trying to stop the driver.

But the situation became dangerous when instead of stopping the car, the driver drove away at high speed. Jilani fell on the bonnet of the car and the driver kept dragging him in the same condition for about 2 kilometers. Seeing this horrifying scene, the people around were frightened.

It is being told that the car was going from Balapur intersection towards Mandamallamma intersection, and during this time Jilani remained hanging on the bonnet. Eventually the local people and passers-by showed courage and stopped the vehicle and saved Jilani.

However, taking advantage of the chaos, the accused driver fled from the spot. Jilani’s son Faisal has suffered serious injuries in the accident, who has been admitted to a nearby private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Police have registered the case and started searching for the accused. CCTV footage is being scrutinized and statements of eyewitnesses are being recorded so that the accused can be arrested as soon as possible.

This incident once again highlights the dangerous consequences of increasing carelessness and anger on the road, which not only leads to accidents but also puts the lives of innocent people at risk.
