Opportunity to get Central Government job, bumper recruitment for youth

New Delhi: There is good news for the youth preparing for jobs in the Central Government. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Drug Inspector. A total of 186 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Commission.

Application process started from June 27

According to the recruitment schedule of UPSC, the online application process has started from 27 June 2026. Interested candidates can submit applications till 17th July 2026. The Commission has clarified that eligibility, educational qualification and age limit will be determined on the basis of the last date of application.

Who can apply?

To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine from a recognized university or institute. Candidates having relevant educational qualification can apply within the prescribed time limit.

age limit

The maximum age of the candidate for recruitment has been fixed at 30 years. However, reserved category candidates will get the benefit of age relaxation as per the rules of the Central Government.

application fee

The application fee for male candidates of General, OBC and EWS category has been fixed at Rs 25. Whereas women candidates of all categories, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Disabled (PwBD) candidates have been completely exempted from the application fee.

attractive salary

Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Matrix Level-8 of the Seventh Central Pay Commission (7th CPC). Along with basic salary, employees appointed at this level will also get dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other government facilities as per rules.
