Organization of an important technical lecture on the topic “Industry 4.0: Transforming the Future of Manufacturing and Technology”

Lucknow- Institution of Engineers (India) of the capital Lucknow, U.P. An important technical lecture on the topic “Industry 4.0: Transforming the Future of Manufacturing and Technology” was organized by State Centre, Lucknow on 28th April, 2026 at Engineers Bhawan, IEI, River Bank Colony, Lucknow. On this occasion, the keynote speaker was Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Professor and Deputy Director Mechanical Engineering, G.C.R.G. Group of Institutions, Lucknow participated.

In his lecture, he highlighted in detail the various dimensions of Industry 4.0, the growing impact of modern technologies, automation, artificial intelligence and digital manufacturing. He informed that unprecedented changes are taking place in the manufacturing sector through Industry 4.0, which is leading to significant increase in production capacity, quality and efficiency. He also said that in the present time, along with technological advancement, industries are facing new challenges, which can be solved through innovation, skill development and proper use of modern technologies. The program was presided over by In. V.P. Singh, Chairman, IEI. U.P. State Centre, Lucknow.

In his presidential address, he said that such technical lectures are very useful for engineers, students and the industry and it increases awareness about new technologies. Expressing his gratitude to the keynote speaker, he talked about continuously organizing such programs by the organization. Program coordinator In.
