Bureau Prayagraj- Realizing the spirit of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a multi-purpose public service and public welfare camp was organized in development blocks Jasra and Chaka on 30 September 2026 in accordance with the spirit of 'Seva Setu-Government at your doorstep'.
The main objective of the program was to provide information about various public welfare schemes run by the government to the eligible citizens, to identify the eligible beneficiaries who were deprived of the schemes and get them registered and to provide quick solution to the public problems on the spot. In this initiative, Agriculture, Revenue, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Health, Animal Husbandry, Food and Logistics, Labour, Skill Development and other related departments actively participated and provided guidance to the farmers.
Honorable member of Uttar Pradesh Farmers Prosperity Commission, Kuldeep Singh addressed the farmers. He provided information about various schemes especially related to agriculture and animal husbandry sector. While explaining in detail about the Nandini Scheme, the Honorable Member made a special appeal to the cattle rearing brothers to avail the benefits of the scheme. For the economic progress of farmers, Shri Singh gave information about Kisan Samriddhi Loan, under which farmers can get a loan of up to Rs 6.00 lakh at a nominal interest rate of only 6 percent for their agricultural needs.
He inspired the farmers to adopt modern agricultural techniques and get involved in animal husbandry along with farming to increase their source of income. Detailed information was provided to the farmers regarding various agricultural programs and schemes run by Assistant Development Officer Agriculture Mr. Neeraj Soni and Incharge Government Agricultural Seed Store Mr. Jaiveer Singh. He gave information to the farmers regarding improved seeds, agricultural mechanization, crop diversification, soil testing, natural and sustainable agriculture, irrigation, pulses-oilseeds production and various agricultural departmental schemes and requested the eligible farmers to take advantage of the schemes.
During the program, mustard and lentil seed minikits were provided free of cost to the progressive farmers of development blocks Jasra and Chaka by the honorable member of Farmers Prosperity Commission as an incentive. Officers/employees of concerned departments, public representatives and a large number of farmers were present in the program.
