In the third and deciding ODI against Australia, Pakistan defeated Australia by 4 wickets. Pakistan chased down the target of 158 runs with the loss of 6 wickets in 41.5 overs. With this victory, Pakistan won the three-match ODI series 2-1. Australia’s innings ended early

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the entire Australian team failed to put up a big score. Pakistan’s fast bowlers put pressure on the Kangaroo batsmen right from the start. Australia could not build a big partnership as wickets fell at regular intervals. Matthew Short was dismissed for a wicket. Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed for 19 runs. Alex Carey was bowled by Harris Rauff on 19 runs. Cameron Green was dismissed for just 7 runs. Matt Renshaw 4 and Cooper Connolly 3 also failed to contribute much in the batting. Josh English top-scored with 65 off 71 balls with 8 fours and a six, but he was not supported by the other batsmen. Due to this, the entire team of Australia was bowled out for 157 runs. From Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf took important wickets with penetrating shots. Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets for 30 runs, while Abrar Ahmed and Shadab Khan took 2 wickets each.

Shadab remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 42 balls, while Abdul remained unbeaten on 18 runs. For Australia, Matthew Kuhneman took 3 wickets, while Nathan Ellis and Matthew Short took one wicket each.
