Another shameful and disgusting chapter has been added to the list of atrocities being committed on minority Hindus and their religious places on Pakistani soil. In collusion with fundamentalist forces and the local administration, a more than a hundred years old historical Hindu temple was completely destroyed in an area of Pakistan, and the construction of an illegal madrassa has been started on that sacred land. When the Indian government and international human rights organizations registered their strong objection to this cruelty and the destruction of religious places and asked tough questions to Pakistan, then as usual the Pakistani rulers and the Foreign Ministry tried hard to cover up their misdeeds. Instead of accepting the terrible truth that was being revealed to the world, they started telling blatant lies and trying unsuccessfully to justify their actions. This dual character of Pakistan has once again been completely exposed before the world, where on one hand false claims are made to protect the rights of minorities, while on the other hand their centers of faith are being razed to the ground with bulldozers.
