Panic among villagers due to terror of monkeys, woman pushed from roof and injured, referred to Chhapra

Ekma (Saran). The life of the villagers has become difficult due to the terror of two monkeys in Atarasan village under Atarasan Panchayat of Rasoolpur police station area of ​​Ekma block. There is an atmosphere of fear in the entire village due to monkeys attacking people every day. On Thursday, Kusum Devi (30), a resident of Atarasan village, had gone to the terrace of her house to take out the drying clothes. Meanwhile, two monkeys suddenly reached him. According to eyewitnesses, the monkeys attacked her and pushed her, causing her to fall off the roof. She was injured in the incident.

The family members immediately took her to Ekma Community Health Center for treatment, where after first aid, she was referred to Sadar Hospital Chapra for better treatment where the injured woman is undergoing treatment. Villagers said that this is not the first incident. Till now, these monkeys have attacked and injured about half a dozen people of Atarasan village and Panchayat.

Due to the continuous attacks, there is an atmosphere of panic among children, women and elderly people and people are afraid to go out and on the rooftops of their houses. The villagers have demanded the forest department to immediately catch the monkeys and release them in a safe forest area. He says that if action is not taken in time, a major accident may occur.
