'Paris will be filled with Muslims', Trump 'cannons' the city of love burning in protests

France is ablaze with protests. Starting from the capital Paris, the fire has spread to different parts. Night curfew has been issued in several cities. In this situation, US President Donald Trump fired directly at the Muslim crowd. According to him, migrants are crossing the border into France. They are the ones creating the problem. Because of him, the whole country has become ablaze.

France has been rocked by protests over multiple issues, including fragile education infrastructure and rising prices. Initially the movement was peaceful but now it has turned violent. The protests began in late September over a teacher crisis at a high school on the outskirts of Paris. Later it spread to most parts of the country. Along with the education crisis, the crowd also took to the streets to protest the exorbitant price hike. At least 40 cities in France are currently on fire. More than 3 lakh students have taken to the streets due to this week-long movement.

Complaints, vandalism in the name of protest, protesters are setting fire in different places. Police riot control forces entered the streets to control the situation. Then the situation became more heated. The police are firing tear gas to disperse the protesters. Water cannons are also being fired. The 140-year-old traditional town hall of Limoges was burnt to ashes by the crowd on Saturday. To deal with the situation, the administration has issued a curfew from 8 pm to 6 am in five cities including Paris.

Behind the protests in France, Trump is looking at the hands of immigrants. In his words, “Paris will soon become a Muslim city. I told Emmanuel Macron long ago to close the border. Everything that is happening in France is the result of immigrants. It is a very sad situation in France.” However, the French border is still not closed. Interior Minister Lauren Nunez offered to resign but was not accepted. Around 2,500 protesters have already been arrested.
