Una. One person died during treatment in the regional hospital of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. After which there was an uproar. The family members of the deceased allege that the patient Harpal Singh Sunehra had reached the hospital on his own. He died during treatment shortly afterwards. After this death, the family accused the doctors and medical staff of alleged negligence in treatment. Then protested in the hospital premises.

According to media reports, after this tragic incident, the family members of the deceased kept the body on a stretcher and started demanding action in the hospital premises itself. During this demand, a lot of resentment was expressed against the hospital administration. During this demonstration, State President of Maharishi Valmiki Guru Ravidas Youth Ekta Mahasabha, Amit Kumar Valmiki was also present on the spot.
The relatives of the deceased say that the patient was in a position to reach the hospital and yet he died during treatment. At present, the family has demanded an investigation into this entire matter and action should be taken against those responsible. However, the extent of medical negligence will be clear only after investigation. The available report has not yet revealed the detailed stand from the concerned doctors of the hospital.
