Now there is no need to go to bank or office to submit digital life certificate. Pensioners can do this through the doorstep service of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and Umang App.
Facility will be available at home
EPFO, in collaboration with IPPB, has provided the facility to pensioners to submit life certificate sitting at home. For this, postal department employees can come to your home and help in completing the process. Pensioners can contact for this service on toll-free number 033-22029000.
Apply through Umang App
Install Umang App and Aadhaar Face RD App to submit the certificate through smartphone. Select the Life Certificate option in the Umang app and fill in the requested information, such as Aadhaar number, PPO number, bank account details and pension related information. After this complete the face authentication process. If the process is successful, a digital life certificate will be generated.
