District Magistrate Sonbhadra Charchad Gaur has informed that a review meeting regarding National Digital Life Certificate-05 November, 2026 was held through video conferencing on October 14, 2026 under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Government, Lucknow. In the meeting, instructions have been given to give wide publicity regarding submission of digital life certificate and to set up a help desk for the convenience of pensioners.
Pensioners can submit their life certificate online themselves or through a family member's mobile app or portal. Apart from this, digital life certificate can also be submitted through the nearest public convenience centre, computer center or cyber café. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for this process has been uploaded on NIC Sonbhadra's website sonbhadra.nic.in. Pensioners can download the SOP from the website or obtain it from the Treasury, Sonbhadra.
District Magistrate Charchal Gaur has directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate publicity by providing help desk facility to assist pensioners regarding digital life certificate, so that more and more pensioners can avail the facility of submitting life certificate online and they do not have to appear personally in the treasury to submit the life certificate.
