Performance of leaders will be monitored in Himachal, Congress party’s new policy, ‘work or step down’ formula will be adopted

In Himachal Pradesh, the Congress Party is going to implement a new system to make its organization more active. This initiative is being started on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi, in which the work of block and district level leaders will be regularly evaluated. Actually, in this new system, the performance of party officials will be divided into three categories which include Green, Yellow and Red zones.

Actually, in the Green Zone there will be those leaders who are doing good work for the organization. The yellow zone will contain average performing leaders, while the red zone will contain those whose work is considered weak. Leaders falling in the red zone will have to improve their performance, otherwise they may have to step down.

Know how the leaders will be monitored?

The party is preparing a special mobile app to implement this new system. Through this app, Block President, District President and State Executive officials will upload information about their activities. In this, photos and reports of meetings, programs, public relations and activities related to the organization will have to be included. Actually, the purpose of this digital system is to find out how much work is being done by which leader on the ground. This will make it easier for the party leadership to understand who has contributed more in strengthening the organization.

According to the information, these activities will be reviewed every three months. In fact, this work will be monitored at both the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and All India Congress Committee levels. If a leader’s performance continues to be weak then he will first be given a chance to improve. Even after this, if the situation does not change, he can be removed from the post.

Those who do good work will get a big opportunity

In fact, an important aspect of this new system is that leaders performing well may get priority in giving election tickets in future. Officials falling in the Green Zone will have more chances of being made candidates for Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha or Assembly elections. Apart from this, such leaders can also be given big positions in the organization. The party believes that this will increase competition among the leaders and they will work more actively.
