It also won three others: Best Dive Destination, Best Retirement Destination, and Sustainability Leader of the Year.
The awards given on Nov. 1 mark the Philippines’s latest recognition in the regional travel industry.
The country also secured its second consecutive title as Best Retirement Destination from TripZilla.
The 12th edition of the TripZilla Excellence Awards recognized outstanding destinations, hotels, attractions, and travel-related businesses across Asia.
While winners in categories covering travel agencies, online travel services, attractions, and hotels were selected through public voting, destination awards were determined through an independent evaluation process, TripZilla said.

In its profile of the Philippines, TripZilla highlighted the country’s thousands of islands, beaches, cultural heritage, and hospitality.
It cited Palawan’s limestone cliffs and clear lagoons, Boracay’s white-sand beaches, and Siargao’s surf culture among the major attractions.
It also pointed to the historic streets of Vigan, the cuisine of Pampanga, and the mountain landscapes of Northern Luzon as experiences beyond the country’s better-known island destinations.
The recognition comes even as the Philippines seeks to strengthen its international tourism market. It received 4.42 million visitors in the first eight months of 2026, marginally year-on-year, according to the Department of Tourism.
The department targets 6.4-6.8 million arrivals for the full year.
