Piyush Goyal Visits BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir In Toronto During Canada Trip – Obnews

India’s Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, visited the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto, Ontario, on May 26, 2026, during his visit to Canada. The group was welcomed at the Mandir by Pujya Gunsagardas Swami, Head Swami of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto, along with BAPS volunteers and community leaders.

During the visit, the delegation was given a guided tour of the Mandir, where they observed its detailed craftsmanship, traditional Hindu architecture and peaceful spiritual atmosphere. Shri Goyal and the delegation also took part in the sacred Abhishek ritual, offering prayers before the murti of Shri Nilkanth Varni. They later visited the various sanctums within the Mandir and interacted with devotees, volunteers and community representatives.
