PM Kisan Yojana: These farmers will not get 2000 rupees of PM Kisan Yojana

PM Kisan Yojana | The central government’s ambitious PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provides farmers with Rs 6,000 per year. This money is deposited in the farmers’ bank account in 3 installments of a total of Rs.2000. Till now 22 installments of PM Kisan Yojana have been received by the farmers and now the farmers are waiting for the 23rd installment. Farmers are waiting for when they will get this installment.

According to media reports, the amount of the 20th installment is likely to be deposited in the farmers’ accounts in the first week of July. However, some farmers will not get the benefit of Rs 2,000 this time. The government has made e-KYC mandatory to avail the scheme. Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC may face difficulty in crediting the next installment amount. Besides, installment can be withheld even if Aadhaar card and bank account are not linked. So beneficiaries should ensure that all their information is updated. PM Kisan Yojana

What should farmers do?

Beneficiaries should complete the verification of e-KYC, Aadhaar-Bank linking and other necessary documents promptly to get the next installment on time. Otherwise the installment of Rs 2,000 is likely to be stuck. The administration is appealing that the farmers should trust the official information only and check their beneficiary status regularly.
