PM Modi Bihar Gift: The luck of the people of these 4 districts of Bihar shone, approval was given in the cabinet meeting
A very good news is coming from the Central Government for the people of Bihar. In the Cabinet Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a big project that will give a new impetus to the development of Bihar has been given the green signal. The government has now decided to convert the Khagaria-Purnia section of National Highway-31 (NH-31) and National Highway-231 (NH-231) into a luxurious four-lane.
The total length of this very special and big highway project will be 143.529 kilometers. The government is going to spend money like water to build this shining road, which will cost a huge sum of Rs 3936.05 crore. Let us tell you that this entire project will be prepared on BOT i.e. ‘Build-Operate-Transfer’ (toll) mode.
Lottery of Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Katihar and Purnia people
With this big decision of the government, it is like a lottery for four major districts of Bihar – Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Katihar and Purnia. According to the Cabinet Committee, with the widening and upgrading of this highway, the people of these four districts will get freedom forever from the gruesome traffic jams they face every day. Dangerous sharp turns, poor design and congested areas of the road will be corrected, which will also reduce the risk of accidents.
Not only this, under this entire project, a brand new 6.729 km long greenfield bypass will also be gifted to the people of Purnia city to save them from traffic jams. Once this project is completed, the travel time between these districts will reduce to just two hours. Along with saving time, the mileage of your vehicle will also increase and the journey will become safer and more comfortable than before. This will change the picture of the entire area and will boost business.
New era of connectivity in Bihar
This new highway project will directly connect the most important economic, social and logistics centers of Bihar. This is not just a road, but is going to be a new corridor of development for Bihar.
This entire corridor will be connected to 5 PM Gati-Shakti Economic Nodes, which include 1 Textile Cluster, 2 Mega Food Parks and 2 Fishing Seafood Parks. Along with this, it will also connect 11 logistics nodes (4 major railway stations, 1 airport, 4 national highways and 2 state highways). With its commissioning, movement of goods and passengers will start at superfast speed in the entire area.
