PM Modi extended best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, called for renewed commitment towards his ideals.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Buddha Purnima and stressed the eternal relevance of the teachings of Lord Buddha and their role in promoting harmony in the society. “Warm wishes on Buddha Purnima. Recalling the teachings of Lord Buddha, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Friday said Buddha Purnima inspires people to be kind, foster harmony and work for the welfare of all. In a post on social media, the Vice President said that the life of Lord Buddha and his teachings continue to illuminate the path of compassion, non-violence and knowledge. Radhakrishnan said that his eternal message of peace, harmony and selfless service remains extremely relevant even in today’s world.
