PM Modi gave a gift to Tamil Nadu: Inaugurated Phase 2 corridor of Chennai Metro, gave a gift from highway to port.

Chennai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the Poonamallee Vadapalani Corridor of Phase-2 of the Chennai Metro Rail Project. This corridor has been built at a cost of about Rs 4,900 crore. After the inauguration, the PM also traveled in the metro from Porur bypass station to Poonamallee bypass station. During this, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay was also present with him. Many important projects related to roads, railways, ports, energy, education and medical research are included in this visit of the Prime Minister. The objective of these projects is to improve connectivity, ease of travel, promote business and expand modern infrastructure in the state.
