PM Modi made an open offer to Congress CM Revanth Reddy, what was the response?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects worth about Rs 9,400 crore in Telangana through digital medium at HICC in Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was also present on the stage. During this time, some such conversations were witnessed between PM Modi and CM Revanth which were interesting. Speaking earlier on the same platform, Revanth Reddy praised the ‘Gujarat Model’ of the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. He also praised Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Referring to the Gujarat model, Revanth Reddy said from the stage in the program that just as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had helped Modi ji when he was the Chief Minister, similarly PM Modi should also bless Telangana and support the development of the state. I have full hope from you. On this, PM Modi said in a joking tone that if I implement the Gujarat formula (help given by the Central Government at that time), then what Telangana is getting today will be halved.

What did PM Modi say to Revanth Reddy?

At the event in Hyderabad, PM Modi said, ‘Now, Revanth had said that we will not talk about politics, so I will also not talk about it. Therefore, I will talk to Revanth Reddy on non-political matters. And so, I would like to say that I am ready to give you as much as the Government of India has given to Gujarat during its 10 years of rule. But based on my knowledge I can tell you that as soon as I do this, whatever you are getting will be halved. Wherever you want to reach, you will not be able to reach there.
