PM Modi Australia Speech: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed people of Indian origin in a program organized in Melbourne, Australia. During this, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese welcomed PM Modi and called him his friend. Before starting his speech, PM Modi greeted everyone present there in Hindi and Gujarati. During this, PM Modi said that this show is housefull and blockbuster.

He said that the energy with which all of you have welcomed us is very special. He said that Melbourne has hit the ground running in a way. PM Modi described Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as his and India’s friend. PM Modi said that I am grateful to the Prime Minister that you were with me in Sydney and have come here also among Indians.

I reached Australia for the third time in 12 years.

During this, PM Modi said that when I came to Australia in 2014, it was after 28 years that an Indian PM had reached here. He said that then I had said that now you will not have to wait for 28 years. PM Modi said that I have come here for the third time in the last 12 years. That means this time a hat-trick has been scored. This shows at what height the relations between India and Australia are. The biggest role in this is not of Modi but of all you people of Indian community.

Melbourne is called Little India

PM Modi further said that it is said that Melbourne shows three seasons in one day. He said that the Indian community has decorated it with its cultural colours. There are many markets here which are colored with the colors of Indianness. PM Modi said that some call it Little India and some call it Mini India. Whatever the name, it is deeply rooted in Indian culture.
