Archer’s Brahmastra fired again, Vaibhav Suryavanshi out cheaply in the third consecutive match, see VIDEO
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Wicket Jofra Archer: In the fourth match of the ongoing five-match T20 series between India and England, 15-year-old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again failed to play a big innings. In the match being played in Bristol, Vaibhav made a fast start, but England’s fast bowler Joffra Archer once again adopted the short ball strategy and made him his victim.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 15 runs in 10 balls during India’s innings. In his short innings, he hit a four and a six, but could not convert the good start into a big innings. Archer bowled a short ball on the back of length and in line with the fifth stump. Vaibhav tried to play a pull shot, but the ball took the upper edge of the bat and went into the air. Sam Curran, posted at mid-on, ended his innings by taking an easy catch.
Looked very disappointed after getting out
Vaibhav Suryavanshi looked quite dejected after losing the wicket. While returning to the pavilion, disappointment was clearly visible on his face. For the third consecutive match, he could not go beyond 15 runs, which further increased his disappointment.

Short ball became the biggest challenge
England’s bowlers once again adopted the short ball strategy against Vaibhav. Joffra Archer continuously created pressure with bouncers and back of length balls. Vaibhav tried to play cautiously in the beginning, but ultimately the same strategy became the reason for his wicket.
It is noteworthy that in the third T20 match also, Archer had dismissed him on a short ball. In that match, the wicketkeeper took the catch, whereas this time Sam Curran ended his innings by taking the catch at mid-on.

Parthiv Patel’s warning proved correct
Before the fourth T20, former Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel had said that England bowlers will try to trouble Vaibhav Suryavanshi with short balls. Exactly the same thing was seen in the match and Archer, using the same strategy, dismissed him for the second consecutive match. Despite good starts, he has failed to score big in three consecutive innings.
