PM Modi Somnath Temple Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of three states. Today he will stay in Gujarat. During this time, PM Modi will participate in the Somnath Amrit Mahotsav, a historical event to be held in the Somnath temple. For the first time, Kumbhabhishekam will be performed with the water of 11 holy places on the grand Shikhar Kalash of Somnath temple. The weight of the Kalash is 760 kg. The capacity of the Kalash is 1100 litres. The weight of this entire structure is 1860 kg. This huge and technologically advanced Kalash is a wonderful example of engineering. This five feet high vessel will be taken to the top of the temple with the help of a crane. Its rehearsal was also done on Sunday.
Deputy Chief Minister reviewed
In view of the program, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi reviewed the preparations. PM Modi will also hold a road show and public meeting here. The Deputy Chief Minister also inspected the arrangements at Somnath Temple. On PM Modi’s arrival in Gujarat, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Jamnagar. In Jamnagar, people from every section and community of the society are busy preparing for the grand welcome of the Prime Minister.

More than 2000 policemen deployed
On the preparations of the administration for the PM’s visit, Junagadh Range DIG Rajendra Singh Chudasama told the media that Prime Minister Modi is coming here on the occasion of Somnath Amrit festival. In that context, more than 2000 policemen, forest personnel, home guards and all officers have been deployed. The entire area is under our surveillance. We have made complete arrangements to ensure that the devotees do not face any problem.

Artists from all over the country will perform
Ahead of the arrival of Prime Minister Modi for the Somnath Amrit Mahotsav, more than 200 traditional drummers from different states in saffron-coloured costumes gave lively performances of dhol and shehnai. A dancer said, we are very excited that Prime Minister Modi is coming to meet us. We will welcome them, which we have practiced today.
At the same time, huge enthusiasm was seen among the people regarding the arrival of Prime Minister Modi in the public meeting organized at Lal Bungalow in Jamnagar. People from West Bengal and other states of the country were present in large numbers at Lal Bangla Circle to welcome the Prime Minister. The entire atmosphere resonated with patriotism with traditional costumes, patriotic slogans and cultural colors.

State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi will be present in PM Modi’s program. Apart from this, thousands of devotees from India and abroad are also reaching the program. To make the program grand, Somnath temple has been decorated with flowers. Yesterday, a rehearsal for the Kumbhabhishek of Kalash was conducted in the presence of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. Besides, special security arrangements have also been made.
