PM Modi’s tough stance on NEET paper leak, playing with the future of students is not acceptable; The culprits will be punished

The parliamentary party meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) held on Tuesday, the second day of the monsoon session of Parliament, was called ‘Mangal Milan’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi has clarified the government’s stand on the NEET paper leak issue. The Prime Minister said in strong words that his government will not allow any injustice to be done to the future of the students.

‘precedent’ against the culprits; action to be taken

Prime Minister Modi said during the meeting that the government took immediate steps as soon as the news of paper leak came to light. After this meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, while giving information on the main points of the Prime Minister’s address in a press conference, said that till now 13 people have been arrested in this case and sent to jail.

The PM has said in strong words that the criminals involved in this racket should be given the harshest punishment. He appealed that the help of top lawyers of the country should be taken so that through the legal process, the culprits get such punishment which sets an example for the future and such incidents do not happen again.

Children should not be used for politics

Taking a dig at the protests being carried out by the opposition, the Prime Minister said that there should be no politics on the NEET issue. He alleged that the opposition is trying to mislead the youth of the country on this sensitive issue.

The PM advised that children and their future should not be used for political gains. He expressed satisfaction that keeping the interest of the students paramount, the government successfully conducted the re-examination and the results were also declared without any delay.
