Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in his letter, My dear brothers and sisters of West Bengal, every festival of democracy is very sacred. I have also got the opportunity to participate in this festival of Bengal. Recently, I got the opportunity to present before you all the BJP’s roadmap for the development of Bengal. The election campaign is ending today at 5 pm. My last rally of this election has also taken place… I am now expressing my feelings to every family member of Bengal through this letter.

During this election, I have experienced a different energy in Bengal. Despite so much heat, even after so many rallies, I did not feel the slightest bit tired in this Bengal election. These rallies, these road shows were like a pilgrimage for me. I used to go among the devotees of Maa Kali, probably Maa Kali was also continuously filling me with new energy.

PM Modi further wrote, when the consecration of Ram Lalla was organized in Ayodhya in January 2024, before that I had performed rituals and fast for 11 days. In this election also, I got the same feeling as I get while visiting a Devi temple. In all the rallies and road shows in Bengal, I have received so many loving messages and pictures that I can never forget them. Whenever I get the first chance after rallies and road shows, I look at those pictures with great satisfaction at night, read your loving messages, your letters and also get my reply written. Be it youth, sisters, daughters or elders, the love I see among my colleagues of every age group is the real asset of my life.

During this election, I also saw how impatient the youth of Bengal, women, farmers, workers, all of them are for a developed Bengal. The youth of Bengal now wants an open field to move forward. Daughters want open sky, want security. Every citizen of Bengal, every family is moving forward in the name of one resolution, to bring about change. Enough of fear, now we need trust, now we need BJP. It is my responsibility to serve Bengal and protect Bengal. It is both my destiny and my responsibility to convert every challenge facing Bengal into an opportunity. I will not shy away from this responsibility. I assure you that we will all celebrate the swearing-in of the BJP Chief Minister in Bengal together.
