PM Modi’s strict message on paper leak, said – culprits should be given strict punishment, farmers’ interests will not be compromised

New Delhi, 21 July. In the NDA’s ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting held amid the monsoon session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the government’s side to the MPs on many important national issues. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that topics like paper leak, interest of farmers, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and smooth functioning of Parliament were discussed in detail in the meeting. The meeting began with the welcome of the recently elected new Rajya Sabha members. Prime Minister Modi, while congratulating the new MPs, called upon them to play an active and effective role in public interest.

Strict stance on paper leak, culprits should be given strict punishment

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Prime Minister described the paper leak as a serious issue related to the future of the country and the youth. He said that as soon as the government got information about the NEET paper leak, immediate action was taken. 13 accused were arrested in the case and sent to jail. To ensure that the future of the students is not affected, the examinations were conducted again on priority basis and the results were also declared on time. Rijiju said that the government is preparing a strong and completely foolproof system to prevent such incidents in future. Besides, effective legal action is being taken to provide harshest punishment to the culprits.

Farmers’ interests paramount, PM’s message on FTA

In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned India’s recent achievements and Free Trade Agreements (FTA) signed with various countries. He clearly said that the government has given top priority to the interests of farmers in every trade agreement and the interests of farmers will not be compromised under any circumstances.

Paper leak is not politics, it is an issue of the country’s future.

Rijiju said that paper leak is not a matter of any one state or central government, but of the future of the entire country and the youth. He appealed to all states and political parties to take united action against this crime. He said that playing with the future of the youth of any kind will not be accepted.

Appeal to maintain the dignity of Parliament

Referring to the monsoon session of Parliament, Prime Minister Modi said that NDA will play a positive role in taking forward all important bills and works of national interest. He also appealed for cooperation from the opposition parties and said that political differences are part of democracy, but Parliament is the highest platform for the future of the country and the youth. Therefore, all parties should work together on issues of national interest while maintaining the dignity of Parliament.
