New Delhi, 16 September 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi on 17 September 2026 at around 10 am. The Prime Minister will also address the people present on this occasion. This three-day conference and exhibition to be held from 17 to 19 September 2026 will be organized on the theme 'Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem'. It will bring together global and Indian companies, policy makers, investors, researchers, start-ups, academic institutions and students from across the semiconductor and electronics value chain. The conference will focus on driving collaboration, investment, innovation and talent development in India. Parallel sessions will cover six country roundtables designed to facilitate progress, collaboration and joint ventures in the display industry, a forum on women's leadership, among other sessions.
SEMICON India 2026 will take a comprehensive value-chain approach, spanning the journey from semiconductor materials, devices and chip design to fabrication, advanced packaging, electronics and systems. The new 'Send to Silicon to Systems' value chain experience will present this journey into the semiconductor ecosystem. SEMICON India 2026 will have over 600 participating companies and is expected to attract approximately 50,000 visitors with delegates from 52 countries, over 400 executives and over 150 speakers. The exhibition will also have six country pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore and Sweden along with 12 state booths, Startup Pavilion, Innovation Showcase, Student Hackathon and Workforce Development Pavilion.
