Technology Desk: A new smartphone may soon be included in the Poco X8 series. The company has started releasing the teaser of Poco X8 in India. After Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, this will be the standard model of this series. The launch date and all specifications of the phone have not been disclosed yet.
Poco X8 page goes live on Flipkart
A dedicated landing page for Poco X8 has gone live on e-commerce website Flipkart. This indicates that after its launch in India, the phone will be sold through Flipkart.
The back panel of the phone is visible in the teaser. It appears to have a square camera module with rounded corners. The phone has two rear cameras in vertical position and LED flash is also present with them. The power and volume buttons appear on the right edge of the phone.
Poco X8 launch date
The company has not yet officially announced the launch date of Poco X8. However, some leaks have claimed that the phone can be launched in India in early September. Along with this, Poco X8 Power is also said to be introduced.
Possible specifications of Poco X8
According to leaks, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor can be given in Poco X8. Its AnTuTu score is claimed to be around 8.3 lakh points.
The phone can get a 6.83 inch AMOLED display, whose peak brightness can be up to 3,500 nits. It is also expected to have support for Wet Touch 2.0 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
9,000mAh large battery
The most special features of Poco X8 may include its large battery. According to leaks, the phone can be provided with a 9,000mAh battery. It can support 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
It has also been revealed that the phone's battery is rated for use for 6 years.
What could the camera be like?
Talking about camera setup, Poco X8 can get a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. At the same time, a 16-megapixel front camera can be provided for selfie and video calling.
The phone is also claimed to have IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Apart from this, it is expected to get 4 OS updates and security updates for 6 years.
Other possible features may include Hyper AI and Xiaomi interconnectivity. However, all these specifications have not been officially confirmed by Poco yet.
