Complaints of complainants were heard by organizing Police Station Redressal Day on Saturday at all the police stations of the district. The jurisdictional officers and station in-charges instructed the concerned officers to ensure fair, quality and timely disposal of complaints.
During Samadhan Diwas, 13 applications from the Police Department and 55 from the Revenue Department were received. Of these, 09 cases of Police Department and 48 cases of Revenue Department were disposed on the spot. The concerned authorities were directed for speedy resolution of the remaining complaints.
To resolve land disputes, joint teams of police and revenue department were stressed upon to take action in mutual coordination, so that the complainants can get speedy justice. At the same time, emphasis was also laid on quality disposal of 10 already pending applications from the Police Department and 106 applications from the Revenue Department.
