According to Trump, the two leaders agreed that Israeli troops would not enter the Lebanese capital Beirut. He further claimed that any Israeli soldiers who were already advancing towards the city had been ordered to turn back.

Trump wrote, “I had a very constructive conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and it was agreed that no troops would be sent to Beirut. Any troops that were headed there have been sent back.”

Hezbollah also agreed to stop firing: Trump

The US President also said that he also had productive talks with Hezbollah through senior representatives. According to Trump, both sides agreed to stop military action against each other.

He claimed that Hezbollah agreed to stop firing, while Israel agreed not to attack the group, which helped ease tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border.

Iran suspends indirect talks with America
