Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav wrote in X Post on Tuesday, “The murder of Para athlete Chirag Tyagi, selected in the Asian Games in Western Uttar Pradesh, the murder of national Kabaddi player Anushka Pal, the murder of Surya Chauhan and a milk merchant, are symbols of the breakdown of law and order in Uttar Pradesh. Is there a ministry called ‘Home’ in UP or has it gone underground due to the audacity of the criminals?”

According to the police, in a dispute over money transaction, accused Shyam Dhanak, a fast food stall operator, killed Anushka by hitting her with a brick.
