In an interview, Pooja Bhatt said, “During the shooting of Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, we were literally in love with each other when the camera was rolling. Our on-screen chemistry was loved by the audience as well.” When asked if there was an attraction between the two at that time, he replied with a smile, “That’s a question for Aamir to ask. I was attractive, wasn’t it? What wonder if he was attracted to me?”

However, he clarified that the feeling between the two remained confined to the screen only. “We definitely had a spark, but it never turned into a serious relationship,” she said. On this occasion, Pooja also commented on Aamir Khan’s perfectionist nature. “Aamir prepares everything meticulously. He is interested in everything in the film. Some may find it interfering, but behind it is his devotion to the work,” he said.
