Celebs Congratulate on CM Thalapathy Vijay: May 10 became a historic day in Tamil Nadu politics, when South superstar Vijay alias Thalapathy Vijay took oath as the new Chief Minister of the state. Vijay took the oath of office and secrecy as the 9th Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at a ceremony held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. During this, the entire stadium echoed with the slogans and celebrations of the supporters. With Vijay becoming the Chief Minister, a new chapter is being considered in the politics of Tamil Nadu. Prakash Raj

Actor Prakash Raj wrote on his X account, “Hearty congratulations to Chief Minister Vijay. Best wishes for success in this new responsibility. May the state achieve more prosperity under your rule.” Prakash Raj had earlier also come out openly in support of Vijay. When, despite the election victory, there was a delay in government formation and the Governor was not giving an opportunity to prove his majority, then Prakash Raj had openly raised questions.

Kamal Haasan

Actor and politician Kamal Haasan also wished Vijay and wrote, “Under the leadership of my brother Vijay, President of TVK and Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, may the state touch new heights and establish new dimensions of development.”

Along with this, actor R Madhavan, while sharing Thalapathy Vijay’s picture on his Instagram handle, wrote, ‘May God bless you and I am very proud of you.’ He wrote, ‘My dear brother, best wishes to you. May your tenure as Chief Minister be fruitful and impactful for our state. May God give you all the strength so that you can do all the good works. Brother, I am very proud of you.

Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and actor Pawan Kalyan also congratulated Vijay. He said, “Congratulations to Thalapathy Vijay on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. I wish that the new government lives up to the expectations of the people, provides transparent and progressive governance and takes Tamil Nadu forward towards development and prosperity.”

The eyes of Vijay’s parents also became moist after seeing their son becoming the Chief Minister.
