Again BCCI rules were flouted in IPL! Picture of phone usage in this team’s dugout goes viral
LSG Staff Break BCCI Rule: Lucknow Super Giants, captained by Rishabh Pant, seems to be embroiled in a new controversy. During the match played against Chennai Super Kings, a staff member of the team was allegedly seen using the phone. The picture of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, after which the discussion has intensified among cricket fans and experts.
Suspicious scene caught on camera
This incident is said to have taken place at the beginning of the match. When Josh English was batting, the camera went towards the camp of Lucknow Super Giants. Meanwhile, a member of the team was seen talking on a mobile phone. As soon as the picture went viral, users on social media started raising questions whether IPL rules were violated.
Someone from the LSG support staff was caught live using a mobile phone in the dugout.
First, Romi Bhinder was caught using a mobile phone and was fined just ₹1 lakh.

There is confusion regarding the viral picture
However, it is not yet clear whether the person concerned was present in the dugout, in the VIP area or in the dressing room. No official information has been revealed regarding the identity of that person and his role in the team. But if the investigation proves that the phone was used in the dugout, then Lucknow Super Giants may have to face difficulties.
What do IPL rules say?
According to IPL rules, strict guidelines are in place regarding the use of mobile phones during the match. Only the team manager is allowed to use the phone and that too only inside the dressing room. Use of phones is strictly prohibited in the dugout. BCCI has been very strict regarding this rule in recent times so that any kind of suspicious activity or inappropriate contact can be prevented.
Action has already been taken
Earlier this season, action was taken against Rajasthan Royals manager Romi Bhinder for using the phone in the dugout. He was fined Rs 1 lakh for violating rules during the match against RCB in Guwahati. The special thing is that BCCI had recently issued an 8-page advisory to all the teams regarding following the rules. In such a situation, the board is also keeping an eye on this matter related to Lucknow Super Giants.
