Digital Desk. Actor Prakash Raj has claimed that his name has been removed from the voter list of Bengaluru constituency. According to the actor, his voting rights were deleted after the SIR process. While sharing the video on social media, he raised questions on this entire process and called it a big joke. Prakash Raj says that he was born in Bengaluru, it was here that he studied and also did theatre. In such a situation, when his name was removed from the voter list, he sarcastically said that now he will see what documents he will have to show to get his voter ID back.

The actor said that people in power can take away someone's right to vote to show their power but the question is whether they will be able to stop people from trying to remove them from power. In his post also he targeted the government on the same issue.
Prakash Raj had come into controversy earlier also regarding Voter ID.
Prakash Raj's name has already surfaced in a case related to Voter ID. In June this year, a Bengaluru court had issued a non-bailable warrant against him. The case pertains to a 2019 complaint in which lawyer Dilip Kumar had alleged that Prakash Raj had voter ID cards from different states. According to the complainant, despite contacting the police and the Election Commission, no action was taken in the matter. After this he approached the court. A non-bailable warrant was issued when Prakash Raj did not appear in the court despite being summoned by the court to appear.
