Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj Party in Bihar and the only MLA of the party from Bankipur seat, held an important meeting on Thursday. State Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit and DGP Vinay Kumar themselves were present in this meeting held at the Old Secretariat in Patna. Apart from these, a total of 5 senior officers including Secretary level officers of Transport Department, Urban Development Department and Commissioner of Patna Municipal Corporation attended the meeting.
The presence of top officers like Chief Secretary and DGP in this meeting of Prashant Kishore has created a stir in the political circles because Jan Suraj has won only one seat in the Assembly in Bihar and Prashant Kishore himself is the only MLA. In such a situation, some people are calling it the result of Prashant Kishor's aggressive politics and growing influence, while some are linking it to some bigger political strategy.

Become MLA by breaking into BJP's stronghold

Bankipur seat was considered a stronghold of BJP for the last 30 years, BJP President Nitin Naveen himself has been MLA from here 5 times. This victory is considered to be a big morale booster for Jan Suraj, who lost all the seats in the last assembly elections.
Let us tell you that right now Prashant Kishore's party is busy preparing for the upcoming MLC elections and Bihar Panchayat elections. Regarding this, Prashant Kishore is also going to visit Bihar from September. There is also a plan to expand Jan Suraj's organization in Bihar and add new people to the party.
