Within no time the dispute escalated and people from both sides came face to face. Due to this, there was chaos on the spot. The police had to resort to lathi charge to control the situation.
According to the information, a five-day Maa Kali Swang is being organized in Daraganj from October 12. Every evening, a masquerade of Maa Kali is taken out, which a large number of devotees and local people come to see. The next day, during the farce, a dispute broke out between the two parties over some issue, which soon turned into a fight.
There was an uproar among the crowd present at the spot. To handle the situation and control the crowd, the police resorted to lathi charge.
