Mini India has given special news for customers who like British style and sporty driving experience. The company has started pre-launch bookings for the Mini Cooper Oxford Edition in India. This limited edition is based on the Cooper S 3-door, and the British flag i.e. Union Jack theme has been specially used. The company has not yet announced the official price and delivery date of this car.
Union Jack A different look with a theme
The Oxford Edition features large Union Jack graphics with a contrasting white roof. The bonnet and boots also get the same themed stripes. The tailgate gets British flag decals, special wheel hub caps and Union Jack valve caps. The car will be available in 2 colors Indigo Sunset Blue and Chilli Red. White mirror caps are offered with both colours. It also gets 18-inch Slide Spoke alloy wheels and customizable LED DRLs.

204hp Power and 300Nm torque
The Mini Cooper Oxford Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 204hp of power and 300Nm of torque. Power goes to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The car accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 6.6 seconds, while the company claims a mileage of 16.82kmpl.
Premium touches in the cabin too
The interior of the car gets JCW sport seats, black upholstery, beige-grey knitted dashboard and silver accents. Features include a 240mm circular OLED touchscreen, head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic glass roof and heated steering wheel.

For safety it gets ADAS, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, driver attention monitoring, ABS, traction control and dynamic stability control. Front-rear sensors, reversing camera and parking assistant are also provided for parking.
The Oxford Edition is named after the city of Oxford in Britain. Production of the original Mini began here in 1959. So this limited edition carries on the Mini’s British heritage in a modern and unique way.
