The romantic comedy Prem Keetanustarring Veer Pahariya in the lead role, has officially hit theatres today.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film serves as the official Hindi-language adaptation of the blockbuster Malayalam hit Premaluwhich originally starred Naslen and Mamitha Baiju under Girish AD’s direction.
The story follows Vishal Thakur (Veer Pahariya), a carefree college slacker from Uttar Pradesh who moves to the Delhi-NCR region under the guise of preparing for overseas studies. While chasing his dream of building a future abroad, he meets Suhani Sharma (debutant Aafiya Sayed), an ambitious professional.
Although Vishal falls for her instantly, Suhani initially views him only as a friend, further complicating matters with the presence of her successful boss, Ranjeet Singh (Aparshakti Khurana). Driven by an emotional setback, Vishal embarks on a journey of self-improvement, focusing on his studies and personal growth, which prompts Suhani to reassess her feelings just as he prepares to leave for his next chapter.
The film features a stellar supporting cast including Nikhil Vijay and Rakesh Bedi. Co-presented by Avanika Films and Phars Film Company in association with original producers Bhavana Studios, Prem Keetanu brings a fresh, relatable spin on modern romance and self-discovery to the big screen.
