Prema Rawat: 24-year-old leg spinner Prema Rawat has made her international debut for Team India in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. This player was recently included in Team India for the T20 World Cup. Prema Rawat had replaced Shreyanka Patil, who was out of the tournament due to injury. Now Prema Rawat has got a chance to debut directly in the World Cup. He made his debut in the match against South Africa.

Team India’s star spinner Shreyanka Patil was injured in the group stage of this T20 World Cup 2026. Shreyanka suffered a serious injury to her right ankle while fielding in the match against Netherlands, due to which she was out of the tournament. In his place, BCCI has included 24-year-old leg spinner Prema Rawat in the team.

Now in its third match of T20 World Cup 2026, Team India gave a chance to Prema Rawat to debut. That means this player has made his debut directly in the World Cup. Prema Rawat, resident of Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, recently performed brilliantly for India A in the ‘Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars’ tournament. While playing in 5 matches, he took a total of 8 wickets in his name.

Talking about Prema Rawat’s overall domestic T20 career, it has been excellent. While playing for Uttarakhand Women’s Cricket Team and Central Zone, she has so far taken a total of 48 wickets in her name while bowling in 38 innings of 41 matches. During this period, he has bowled at an excellent average of only 14.04 and an economical economy rate of 5.35. Looking at her record, it is clear that she becomes a problem for the batsmen. His best performance during this period has been taking 4 wickets for 17 runs. Apart from this, Prema can also bat in the lower order if needed. Prema Rawat plays for RCB in WPL

Prema Rawat plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League. In the WPL 2025 auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for a huge amount of Rs 1.2 crore. After this, in the Women’s Premier League 2026 auction, RCB again included her for Rs 20 lakh using the RTM card. Prema has played 6 matches in WPL so far. During this period he has taken 3 wickets in his name. Taking 2 wickets for 16 runs was his best performance.
