Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biggest meeting at 4 pm, secretaries of all ministries will attend, big decisions can be taken
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an important meeting with the secretaries of all central ministries on Tuesday evening at 4 pm. In this meeting, progress of major schemes of the government, administrative reforms and measures to provide better facilities to the people are likely to be discussed. The main objective of the meeting is to review the work towards the goal of making India a developed nation by the year 2047.
Focus will be on reform and good governance
According to sources, in the meeting there will be special emphasis on reforms related to ‘Ease of Living’ (making life easier) and ‘Ease of Doing Business’ (ease of doing business). The Prime Minister will review the reforms undertaken by various ministries and new initiatives launched for the common people.
In the meeting, secretaries of many ministries will also give presentations on the achievements of their departments, ongoing schemes and progress of reforms. Along with this, new reforms to be implemented in future will also be discussed.
Instructions are possible to complete the pending work soon
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi can advise officials to speed up administrative work and ensure timely disposal of matters related to the public. The government wants that people should get the benefits of government services without any unnecessary delay and the governance system should become more effective.
There will be discussion on developed India 2047
The government has already set the target of making India a developed nation by the year 2047. In this direction, the outline of reforms for the next ten years is also expected to be discussed. The country’s strong growth rate in recent economic data can also be used as a basis in the meeting.
India’s economy registered a growth of 7.8 percent in the January to March quarter, while the overall GDP growth rate in the financial year 2025-26 stood at 7.7 percent. The government is considering this as a positive result of reforms and investment.
Senior officers will also be present
In the meeting, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister P.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary Shaktikanta Das and Cabinet Secretary T.V. Many senior officials including Somanathan may participate. It is believed that through this meeting the government will decide the new direction of administrative reforms for the coming years.
