‘Had she spoken once, they would have stopped the marriage’… Siya’s brother’s interrogation lasted for 10 hours; Many secrets came to light
Ketan Murder Case Update: A big revelation has come to light in the murder case of 25 year old real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal that took place in the Lohagarh Fort of Lonavala, a famous tourist destination in Maharashtra. Sahil Goyal, brother of the main accused in the case, Sahil Goyal, was rigorously interrogated by the police for about 10 hours on Friday. During this long interrogation, Sahil told many important things to the police which can bring a new twist in the investigation of this entire murder case. Sahil Goyal clearly told the police that if his sister Siya had expressed any problem or dislike regarding the marriage, the entire family would have stopped the marriage.
Sahil Goyal was interrogated for 10 hours
According to senior officials of Lonavala Rural Police Station, Sahil Goyal was called for questioning on Friday morning. After this, he was allowed to return home late in the evening. The police questioned Sahil in detail about the relationship between his sister Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary in the case. The police is trying to link the contact between them and the day of the incident through Sahil. Officials believe that this statement of Sahil is very important because it indicates that Sia had never shared any of her worries or fears regarding marriage with her family.
Bloody conspiracy hatched in Lohagarh Fort
According to the police investigation so far, this entire incident took place on June 18 when Ketan Aggarwal was pushed down the hill by his fiancee 20-year-old Siya Goyal and her alleged lover 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary in Lohagarh Fort. Ketan died in this accident after falling into a deep ditch. The investigators have a strong claim that both of them together had hatched the entire conspiracy to murder Ketan. Sia was going to get married to Ketan in the coming month of November and she did not want to go ahead with the marriage at any cost. For this reason, she along with her lover took the dreadful decision to remove Ketan from the way.
The role of the accused has been completely proven.
Giving information about this high profile case, Lonavala Division DSP Gajanan Tonpe said that in the investigation so far, the criminal roles of both Siya and Chetan have been completely proved. The police is collecting every possible scientific and technical evidence to strengthen this case. DSP Tonpe also clarified that the scope of inquiry will be further expanded in the coming days. Under this, other relatives of both the families and friends of Ketan and Siya will also be called to the police station and interrogated so that every small and big thing before the incident can be revealed.
Crime scene will be recreated with dummy body
The police is working on a special plan to understand the exact sequence of events in this sensational case. Very soon, the investigation team will recreate the same crime scene of Lohagarh Fort from where Ketan was thrown using a dummy body. This will help the police to understand how and with what force Ketan was pushed down the hill. Police have so far completed the interrogation of seven people in this case. These witnesses also include an employee whose mobile phone was used by accused Chetan Chaudhary to talk to Sia on the day of the incident.
Father rejected the hair wig issue
Meanwhile, deceased Ketan’s father Vishal Aggarwal has completely rejected all the claims and rumors that the controversy escalated due to Ketan’s hair wig. Vishal Aggarwal told that due to some medical reasons, hair had fallen from a very small part of Ketan’s head. But this was clearly told to Siya and her family long before the marriage was fixed. He said very emotionally that if Siya had any problem with this or with Ketan, she could have just said no once. It was very easy for him to cancel the marriage but he chose the path of murder.
Case will be heard in fast track court
This heart-wrenching case has now attracted the attention of entire Maharashtra. State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself met Vishal Aggarwal, father of the victim businessman in Pune and assured him of full justice. Accepting the demand of the victim’s family, the state government has given approval to hear this entire case in a fast track court. Along with this, the country’s well-known lawyer Ujjwal Nikam has been appointed as special government lawyer for this case. Expressing deep concern over this incident, the Chief Minister said that it is very shocking that why such criminal thinking is developing among educated young men and women from good families. The government will ensure strict action in this matter.
